Announcement nº 3/2010 of the Community Plant Variety Office in respect of the availability of an online application system

This new service - opened on 23/03/2010 - enables users to apply for a Community plant variety right online.
For the time being this option is available in English, but further languages (Dutch, German and French) will be made available before the end of the year.

Currently, online filing can be made in respect of varieties of the following species:

- Chrysanthemum L.
- Lactuca sativa L.
- Prunus persica (L.) Batsch.
- Rosa L.
- Solanum tuberosum L.

The CPVO will extend the offer to other species. Please note that paper applications remain possible.
